Processor/CPU

Storage
The drive is the place where data is stored and retrieved upon request.
(HDD) is a traditional storage device that uses mechanical platters and a moving read/write head to access data.
(SSD) is a newer, faster type of device that stores data on instantly accessible memory chips.
When selecting a drive, speed and size are the two important factors to consider.
Graphics card
A graphic card is a type of video card or display adapter that are installed in most computers to display data with high definition, colour, clarity and overall appearance. There are two types of graphics integrated and dedicated. Integrated are inbuilt while dedicated graphics are installed separately.
Size and form factor
Laptops sizes start at 11.6-inches and go all the way up to 17.3 inches. If portability is your priority, you’ll want to go for a smaller-sized laptop.
Keyboard
Your computer’s intended function will determine the type of keyboard you will need e.g. for long typing sessions, you’ll need to get a laptop that has a comfortable keyboard while for accounting a full keyboard with a numeric keypad will do. Keyboards with backlit keys make it much easier to see what you’re typing in a dimly lit environment.
Security
Your data safety should be a priority as well.
To keep the contents of your laptop secure, a portable PC with a fingerprint reader or Face ID recognition tech is better.
Ports and connectivity
If you are looking for a computer that you can conduct a presentation with go for a PC with HDMI, Display ports, USB-C for easier connection with AV equipment e.g. projectors
